The STRONG Leader Institute will go beyond theory, and into action. Far too many conferences and leadership development programs focus on ideas, concepts and theories. The assumption is that if you learn what to do, then you will know what to do; therefore, you will consistently do it! We all know that is not the case.
The Institute will provide you with the tools and resources needed to:
- Turn mediocrity into high performance
- Identify the right person, for the right role, on the right team
- Effectively communicate with those who report to you, those you work alongside and those you report to.
A key part of the STRONG Leader Institute will be the Capstone Project. The Capstone will be a culminating experience in which leaders use the tools and knowledge gained at the Institute, and apply it to one of their real workplace challenges.
The Institute is not your typical conference where there is a keynote, breakout sessions, reception, repeat. In fact, it’s not a conference … it’s a leadership institute that focuses on providing you with proven tools and resources to lead your team better.
The STRONG Leader Institute will go beyond theory, and into action. The STRONG Leader Institute equips you with the tools and resources needed to build, inspire and sustain a high-performing team. Strong mid-managers and those who are close to becoming senior leaders are the individuals who are closest to the customer experience. The people in these roles, typically direct leaders, have the most influence on the morale, productivity and engagement of the line staff. While anyone can (and has) benefited from my leadership courses, I believe these individuals will benefit greatly from the SLI experience.
Most times when a company calls on me to assist the question is, “How can WE improve the culture?” or “What do OUR leaders need to do drive service excellence?” With all the talk on what leaders need to do and the organization needs to do, the malnourished component is the individual leader and what he/she specifically needs to do every day. What am I going to do? What behaviors will I be accountable for?
